An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the death of three young people, found dead this Tuesday in their vehicle overturned in a body of water in the Eure, we learned from the Evreux public prosecutor’s office.
“An investigation was opened under the direction of my prosecution and entrusted to the gendarmerie,” indicated the public prosecutor of Evreux Rémi Coutin, confirming information from Paris Normandy. The three young men discovered in the morning by a local resident in a pond near Chambois (Eure) “were aged 19 for two of them and 17 for the third,” said the prosecutor.
“The causes and circumstances of the tragedy are currently unknown”, it is up to the investigation to elucidate them, added Rémi Coutin. The autopsy of the three victims must take place on Wednesday at the Rouen forensic institute.
