Tuesday, around 4 p.m. in Halluin, near Lille, in the North, help was called after a three-year-old child had a heavy fall from an apartment building, we learned from the police. .
These were witnesses to the scene who alerted the emergency services. Quickly on the spot, the firefighters and the Samu took charge of a three-year-old boy who had just fallen from the window of a room in his parents’ home located on the third floor.
The child finally died overnight
First aid was provided on the spot then the little boy was transported in absolute urgency, under police escort, to the Roger Salengro hospital center, in Lille. On his arrival at the hospital, the child’s vital prognosis was engaged. Police say he eventually succumbed to his injuries overnight. Shocked, the baby’s mother was also hospitalized.
A police investigation was opened to try to determine the circumstances of the tragedy. At this stage, no track is privileged.
