After the murder of a 32-year-old man, killed during a stabbing in Ecully on January 3, three individuals were arrested, we learned this Thursday from the Lyon prosecutor’s office. The first is 30 years old and the other two are 24 years old.
Arrested on January 8 and placed in police custody, they are suspected of having participated in the fight which cost the life of the victim. They were referred this Thursday for the opening of a judicial investigation of the counts of murder in an organized gang and association of criminals with a view to committing a crime.

On January 3, around 4:45 p.m., the police were called by residents who heard several gunshots at 32 avenue des sources in Ecully. The first investigations made it possible to establish “the existence of a group of several individuals” at the address cited, then “a fight during which one or more bladed weapons had been used”, summarizes the Lyon prosecutor’s office . Shots were then fired.
The investigation must now continue to “challenge all the participants” in this deadly brawl and “determine the exact role of each of the protagonists”.
