In the small final between Paris FC and Reims, the Parisiennes won on penalties (1-1, 4 TAB 2) and qualified for the preliminary rounds of the Champions League. This Friday, OL and PSG will meet at 9 p.m. at Groupama Stadium to play the D1 Arkema final. For the first since 2004, the women’s D1 title will be awarded at the end of the “play-offs”. Before meeting in the final, OL and PSG assumed their status as favorites. Sonia Bompastor’s Lyonnaises crushed Reims 6-0 while Jocelyn Prêcheur’s Parisiennes had to go to penalties (2-2, 5-4 TAB) to take out Paris FC. OL will be looking for a 17th title while PSG will want to add the women’s D1 for the second time to their list of achievements, after 2021.
