Three people lost their lives in a dramatic road accident in Vaucluse this Sunday, May 12 in the night.
On the evening of Saturday, May 11, an damaged car was found submerged at the bottom of an agricultural retention basin in Vaucluse.
The three people died instantly
According to The Dauphiné Libéré, the bodies of three young men in their twenties were discovered inside the passenger compartment. A major device was deployed on site by firefighters and the gendarmerie. Divers and investigation teams also intervened.
Presumably, the car would have left the road and then hit the hill leading to the retention basin. The vehicle finally ended up in the water and ended up on its roof. Only the wheels were visible out of the water. The three young men died instantly.
