In an interview, Thore Schölermann raved about “The Voice Kids” colleague Lena Meyer-Landrut. She is “a totally cool sock”.

“The Voice Kids” moderator Thore Schölermann (37) is happy about the return of his colleague Lena Meyer-Landrut (30) to the Sat.1 casting show for children. The singer returned for the show’s tenth season after a year-long hiatus. “Lena is a totally cool sock,” enthuses Schölermann in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper from the coach. “I’m always happy when I see her in the hallway and we chat.”

According to Schölermann, the return of the ESC winner from 2010 is also a great joy for the children: “The children love her. She is an idol for the children and it is always nice to see how the children’s eyes light up when they see Lena see.” The up-and-coming singers almost “fall into a state of shock when they see Lena”.

Singer is “more motivated than ever”

Lena Meyer-Landrut is in this year’s anniversary season for the seventh time as a coach on “The Voice Kids”. In 2015 she was able to win with her talent Noah-Levi. Now she’s aiming for victory again: “Get ready, because I’m back. And more motivated than ever for the anniversary season,” said the singer in a statement from broadcaster Sat.1.

In addition to Meyer-Landrut, the singers Wincent Weiss (28) and Alvaro Soler (30) as well as Smudo (53) and Michi Beck (53) from the Fantastischen Vier take a seat on the red chairs.
