When will the Würmtal become energy self-sufficient? It’s a question that the mayors of Würmtal want to ask themselves next Saturday, October 15th, at the Würmtal Energy Day in the Kupferhaus Planegg. The Energy Day actually takes place every year, but had to pause longer due to the pandemic. Against the background of the current energy crisis, this year’s day is particularly explosive. The information event and panel discussion lasts from 2 to 6 p.m. and is organized by the Würmtal Innovative Energy Association. In a first part, projects for independent energy generation in the respective communities are presented. Afterwards, citizens can have new technologies for generating energy presented to them at information stands and formulate questions for the experts and mayors, which will be answered in a second part on the podium. The event is intended to convey the need for renewable energy generation to citizens and to encourage participation.
