This is how Caroline von Hanover’s first husband Phillipe Junot lives today

Today Caroline von Hannover (67) lives a quiet life. Prince Albert’s sister (66) thrives in her role as grandma of seven grandchildren. But Caroline has an eventful past behind her – also in matters of love. When she said yes to her great love Stefano Casiraghi (†30) in 1983, it was not the first marriage for the daughter of Prince Rainier (†81) and Princess Gracia Patricia (†52).

Caroline of Hanover married Philippe Junot in 1978

What hardly anyone knows today: Caroline went to the altar in 1978 and married the investment banker Philippe Junot (84), who was 17 years her senior. The two met in Paris, where Caroline began studying philosophy a short time later. But just two years after saying yes, the marriage was over and was officially divorced on October 9, 1980. It was later even declared null and void by the Roman Catholic Church. For both Caroline and Philippe, it wasn’t the only marriage.

You can find out more about Caroline’s ex-husband Philippe Junot and how his life continued after the divorce in the video above.

Caroline of Hanover represents the Grimaldis

To this day, Caroline is an important support for her brother Albert when it comes to representing the Grimaldis. The Rose Ball in Monaco is therefore a must for you and your loved ones every year. Caroline posed for the press alongside her daughters Charlotte Casiraghi (37) and Alexandra von Hannover (24) again this year.
