Igor Bogdanoff died Monday at the age of 72, less than a week after his brother Grichka, both of the consequences of contamination with Covid-19 according to relatives. The twins were television stars of the 1980s for launching the first science fiction show in France.

Shortly after Igor’s death, the lawyer for the two brothers, Me Edouard de Lamaze, confirmed on RTL that this new death was due to Covid-19. However, he refused to confirm that Igor was not vaccinated, indicating that he was “a lawyer, (…) not a doctor”.
According to Pierre-Jean Chalençon, they were not antivax, they thought they were “immune” thanks to their “extraordinary” lifestyle. “They eat seeds, they don’t drink alcohol. They did not have co-morbidity, for them, they were not the target of the Covid, ”he concludes.

Luc Ferry, professor of philosophy and former Minister of Education, friend of the two brothers, had assured the Parisian, the day after Grichka’s death, that the Bogdanoffs were not vaccinated. He had also confirmed that Igor, positive for Covid-19, was then in intensive care.
Made famous in the 1980s by their science fiction show Time X on TF1, where they evolved in a spaceship setting with futuristic suits, Igor and Grichka had become the object of mockery for their deeply transformed faces which they themselves qualified as “extraterrestrials”.
