A car blocking traffic, an exasperated motorist and a situation that degenerates. Three people were arrested on Friday afternoon following a violent altercation in front of the Gabriel-Péri public school in Givors, near Lyon (Rhône). The fight opposed several parents of students.
It all started around 1:30 p.m. when a mother parked her vehicle in front of the entrance to the establishment, in the middle of the lane, thus blocking all traffic while she accompanied her child. Stuck behind her, a motorist began to honk to ask her to hurry and clear the way, reports Progress. Instead of running, the mother of the family called her husband, who arrived with a knife.
Two altercations in the day
If things remained there at first, the situation worsened again at the end of the classes, around 4:30 p.m., when the main protagonists came to collect their children. This time, the municipal police intervened to restore calm and separate the parents, indicates the regional daily.
