There will be no more last chance trials in the next season!

Top chef has revised its recipe for the 14th season which will arrive on M6 in early 2023. The channel, which revealed the main outlines of this new edition this Friday, promises that the episodes will be shorter and the editing tighter.

The candidates – who will be fifteen on the starting line – will only have two tests each week to try to qualify for the rest of the adventure: the last chance test disappears.

No red brigade this year

To spice things up, this year, Hélène Darroze will not form a brigade. On the other hand, she will be in charge of a “secret” and parallel contest where she will compete each week with eliminated candidates, the time of a repechage test. Whoever manages to meet all the challenges will re-enter the competition at the quarter-final level.

Each episode will revolve around a theme: “revolutionizing street food”, “Can gastronomic and economic rhyme?” “, “24 hours in the life of a palace”… And new tests will appear, such as the “white box”, where each dish will be judged sense by sense: smell, hearing, sight, touch and, of course, the taste. The candidates will also have the opportunity to take up a sizeable challenge: to face the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. Mouth watering…
