The police are currently dealing with four burglaries in Schwabing within a few days. In two of them a connection is obvious, in the other two it is suspected.
Between Wednesday last week and last Monday, unknown perpetrators gained access to an apartment building on Karl-Theodor-Straße. There they forced open two entrance doors and searched the apartments. In one, they broke into a safe and stole jewelry and cash worth more than 1,000 euros. In another they stole jewelry; the extent of the damage is not yet known.
The other two cases affected restaurants in and around Hohenzollernstrasse. Both burglaries happened shortly after each other on Tuesday night. The thieves gained entry by forcing open one patio door at a time. They stole tablets and other electronic devices worth several hundred euros.
