After almost 25 years, the theater classic “Our Little Town” is coming back to New York’s Broadway – with two stars in the leading roles.

The US actress Katie Holmes (45) and her colleague Jim Parsons (51) come to the New Yorker together Broadway. The two stars are to take on leading roles in a new production of the play “Our Little Town,” according to the organizers. Actress Zoey Deutch is also in the ensemble. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Thornton Wilder (1897-1975), which premiered in 1938, is about the ups and downs of small-town life.

The premiere at the Barrymore Theater is scheduled for October 10th (previews from mid-September). Holmes became famous in the late 90s with the television series “Dawson’s Creek”, Parsons with the sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”. Both also have Broadway experience.
