“At first I was surprised because it was really a joke. We all felt it was a joke, Artus too. And in no way an apology for alcohol”she said. “But then it got me thinking. And we said with our team that this posed a real question, that it opened a real social debate, a substantive subject”she added.

Moreover, a few minutes later in the show, emergency doctor Gérald Kierzek was invited on set to talk about the dangers of alcohol consumption. Léa Salamé clarified that Artus had called her and apologized for the extent of the controversy. “He told me: I don’t understand, it was a waste “, she said.
The journalist in any case affirmed that she would not “no more jokes”and recalled that alcohol consumption was “a danger, a scourge that wreaks havoc”, “immense suffering for those who are dependent”.
However, this is not the only controversy in which the journalist is embroiled. A few days after the broadcast of the show with Artus, she was singled out after suggesting that some victims of sexual violence “let it happen” and others don’t. She has not yet spoken on this subject.
