The left-wing politician is considered to be eloquent in heated debates. He now wants to use this verbal ability on a theater stage in Berlin.
The left-wing politician Gregor Gysi (74) shows his comedic side: he appears as a narrator in “Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show” in Berlin’s Admiralspalast from March 8th to 10th.
“Perhaps his comments on the biting spectator interjections are just as ironic and humorous as his legendary speech duels with the former Bundestag President Norbert Lammert,” says the announcement.
On other evenings, the actor Sky du Mont (74) can be seen as the narrator in the musical. The show promises a journey back to the “rocky horror” spectacle known as the legendary cinema film: “to B-movies, burlesque and glam rock”.
Gregor Gysi, presented by the stage as a “skilled worker for cattle breeding, lawyer, experienced opposition leader”, was the head of the parliamentary group of the left for many years, and he won a direct mandate in Berlin in the 2021 federal election.
