The year 2023 is the second hottest year ever measured in France by Météo-France

This year the weather was good. Weather specialists even classify the year 2023 as the second warmest year since the beginning… of the 20th century!

The average temperature was around 14.4°C, Météo-France reported on Friday on its website. On the thermometer record it ranks just after the year 2022, when France recorded an average temperature of 14.5°C.

On the other hand, 2023 was indeed “the hottest year ever recorded in the world”, specifies Météo-France, based on data from the European Copernicus program, to which the organization contributes.
