The Weeknd is postponing his planned Australia and New Zealand tour due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Fans blame him.

The Weeknd (33) is postponing his planned “The After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour” in Australia and New Zealand. The ticket providers shared this “Live Nation Australia” and “Live Nation New Zealand” on November 6th on their websites. Both quote The Weeknd as saying to his fans: “Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to postpone the Australia/New Zealand tour (…) We are deeply disappointed, but we can’t wait to be there with you!”

The canceled shows in Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will be rescheduled as soon as possible. “The new dates will be announced next year and existing tickets will be valid for the new shows,” the statement said. Those who cannot keep the new dates will get their money back.
