The requests made by the weekly were not deemed admissible by the court of Lorient (Morbihan). Seizure by newspaper management The Poher for acts of insults and defamation uttered on a far-right site, the Lorient court dismissed its requests from the Carhaix weekly. Victim of intimidation and death threats, the weekly filed a complaint following the distribution of an article published on the far-right site Resistance Republicane written by Bernard Germain.
In this text, still online, the Carhaix newspaper is described as a “miserable far-left rag”. Its readers are treated as “morons”, and one of its journalists is accused of being “sold to immigrationists and globalists” and “collaborator”.
The complaint was not aimed at the right people
