The weather (finally) cools down this Tuesday

Are we finally heading towards fall weather? After an exceptional Indian summer and a particularly late heat wave in France, temperatures are plummeting this Tuesday. Some rain is also expected from the southwest to the northeast of France, according to Météo-France forecasts.

A disturbance will extend from Aquitaine to the Belgian border in the morning and will give generally light rain. It will shift towards the east over the hours. To the rear, the regions going from Gironde to Brittany and Hauts-de-France will find dry weather with some clearing. The wind will be noticeable on the Channel coasts.

Maximums dropping sharply in the northwest

On the other hand, from the Pyrenees to the North-East, the sky will remain overcast. Showers will become more numerous in the Grand-Est and the wind will pick up. A few drops will escape further south, from the Pyrenees to the Center-East.

Low clouds will still be numerous in the morning around the Gulf of Lion. They will dissipate over the hours and give way to beautiful sunshine. Elsewhere in the South-East, the weather will also be pleasant. The minimums will be between 12 and 16 degrees in the northern half, 16 to 21 degrees in the South. The maximums will be significantly lower with 18 to 22 degrees over a large northwest quarter and 21 to 27 degrees elsewhere, up to 28 to 31 degrees in Provence.
