He was “one of the ten priority targets”, one of the most wanted child molesters internationally at the time of his arrest in July 2020. “He was always very careful and, in 2020, while he is already targeted by Interpol as one of the most important targets in terms of child crime, he is committing recklessness and we can trace his IP address,” reports Me Rémy Legigan, the lawyer for the mother of the two little girls who were victims.

This “Kali” had been actively sought since 2017 by the authorities, in view of his activity on the Darknet. A town hall employee in a village of barely 800 people, 45 minutes from Bordeaux, the accused was himself a victim of abuse when he was a child, like many sexual attackers.
The former town hall employee did not arouse the suspicions of his relatives or acquaintances before 2020. “There is nothing to suggest that this guy who had no particular computer skills and who did not speak particularly English , engage in such a systematic and serious activity,” said the mother’s lawyer.
