The trail of the privileged drug transaction after the “ducking” at McDonald’s

After the carnage that occurred on Saturday evening in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in the 16th arrondissement of Marseille where two people were murdered and three injured, Nicolas Bessone, the public prosecutor spoke this Sunday.

The magistrate, newly stationed in Marseille after the departure of Dominique Laurens, gave some details about the victims, reports Provence. The latter came from the neighboring Var. “At this stage, we do not know with whom they had an appointment even if we can legitimately think that from Toulon, you do not go to the 16th arrondissement of Marseille to eat at McDonald’s,” noted Nicolas Bessone.

Twenty-four 7.62 caliber cartridge cases

From then on, the judicial police are working on the hypothesis of a drug transaction which turns into a trap. The three occupants of the vehicle were all known to the courts and already convicted of drug violations. The two women who accompanied them, one of whom died, were however not identified until now by the judicial authorities.

The modus operandi of this double assassination has all the makings of authentic “narchomicide”. The killer(s) appeared in a vehicle before opening fire with the weapon of war, probably of the Kalashnikov type since 24 cartridge cases of caliber 7.62 were found at the crime scene.

Since the start of the year, 48 people have been killed, and 110 injured, in Marseille and its immediate surroundings in shootings linked to drug trafficking.
