The bed is of course the central element of the room. And the most common mistake concerns its location. Although there is no rational explanation backed by science, the fact is that most people sleep better when the bed is set up so that they can see the door when lying on it.

Following the principles of feng-shui, it is also not recommended to place the bed in front of the window: the incoming flow of Chi would in fact be too energizing for sleeping well.
