The thorny Florence Hardouin case at the heart of Friday’s Comex

The big news at the French Football Federation (FFF) will be back on Friday. As revealed The Team, an Executive Committee of the FFF will indeed be organized at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the case of Florence Hardouin. Laid off on January 11, the director general of the body did not come to her interview on Tuesday prior to a probable dismissal.

If his final departure from the FFF is hardly in doubt, Florence Hardouin, who had suffered a heart attack last month on learning of his layoff, should receive a letter within the month to notify him of the grievances against him. Friday’s Comex must determine if the FFF is continuing its procedure until the industrial tribunal or if a negotiation for a departure without courts is possible. The acting president of the FFF Philippe Diallo wants to take stock of the content of the registered mail to be sent to Florence Hardouin.

According to The Team, some Comex members would like to find a solution for a negotiated departure of the future ex-CEO. The next highly anticipated meeting on the FFF side will take place on Tuesday February 28, with another Comex which will deal with Noël Le Graët. The president of the FFF has been withdrawn from his duties for more than a month, due to the audit having found his “misbehavior incompatible” with his function.
