Started last November, the Kheira Hamraoui affair continues to make people talk. This Friday, Aminata Diallo was also presented to a judge before being indicted for aggravated violence and criminal association as part of the investigation into the assault of her former teammate at PSG. After ten months of investigation and recent surprising revelations, Kheira Hamraoui has decided to break the silence. In a long message published on her Twitter account, she recounts in particular the hell experienced during this night of November 4, 2021 where several individuals violently attacked her with iron bars.

“After very long months of suffering, I have decided to come out of silence. I will never forget this evening of November 4, 2021. It haunts me night and day. This dark evening that changed my personal and professional life, my life as a woman and as a footballer. This sad evening when I thought I was going to die when two hooded men forced me out of a vehicle. They beat me with iron bars, mainly targeting my lower body. That night, their objective was simple: to remove my work tool by extreme violence by breaking my legs and put an end to my career.first indicated the French international before denouncing the media treatment of this affair.

“Their objective was simple: to remove my work tool by extreme violence by breaking my legs and put an end to my career.”

“Following this oh so traumatic experience which turned into an absolute injustice, I was the victim of a surprising media cabal with the aim of tarnishing my image and my private life. The purpose was to distance public opinion from the truth: I am a victim. Certainly not guilty, except probably for walling myself up in the silence that suits my modesty. And to have allowed a media buzz of incredible violence to take hold that destroyed us, my loved ones and me. For very long months after my assault, I was unfairly insulted on the pitch, harassed on social media and threatened with death. Nevertheless, I tried to hold on with all my strength to my passion and to remain professional. This period is certainly one of the most difficult in my life as a woman and as a top athlete. Especially since the adventure of the France team, so important to me, is now being written without me..

Far from the Blues but ready to do anything to bring justice, Hamraoui now hopes to be able to focus on his football and that this case will be finally resolved. As a reminder, Aminata Diallo, designated as the “sponsor of the violence to allow him to occupy the position of the victim during future competitions”was arrested, placed in police custody and indicted, this Friday, for “aggravated violence” and “conspiracy”. “Today, I trust justice to bring out the truth and my honor to be washed. I can’t wait for my name to be associated only with the sports pages again and leave the legal columns.then added the 32-year-old player before closing this long message with several thanks.

“I would never have been able to get through these painful times without the unwavering support of my family and loved ones. I also sincerely thank my lawyer Julia Minkowski, my agents Sonia Souid and Patrick Esteves, my communications advisors Teddy Pessot and Ahmed Eddarraz. Without their help, I couldn’t have found the resources to get my head above water. I would certainly have sunk under the weight of this affair. My career goal has always been to become a professional player who gives the best of herself on the pitch while respecting her public and partners. I hope with all my heart to be able to fulfill my dream as a little girl for a long time to come. What I have experienced in recent months is a very great life lesson. Today I aspire to rediscover the pleasure of the green rectangle. And keep winning. Because if there is one thing that has not changed since this tragedy: it is my ambition for me and my country. Kheira Hamraoui.
