INFO LE FIGARO – For the first time, the GSC association is broadcasting a mid-stage report – that Le Figaro obtained – companies forced to go out of business since the beginning of the year.

The GSC association is sounding the alarm. More than 18,500 business leaders have gone out of business since the beginning of the year, i.e. nearly 30% more than in 2021 at the same period, warns the structure behind the creation more than forty years ago of job loss insurance aimed at entrepreneurs. A sign of concern, it broadcasts for the first time a mid-stage report, that Le Figaro has procured.

The leaders of small structures (less than three employees), the most exposed, represent more than three quarters of these job losses. The managers of SARLs make up the bulk of them, even if their share in the total deletions is down, while the number of managers of simplified joint-stock companies (SAS) and artisan traders concerned jumps respectively by 36.2% and 21.8%.
