The SNCF lodges a complaint after the installation of travelers on one of its sites

They have been there since Tuesday evening. About fifty caravans belonging to travelers are parked without authorization on land owned by SNCF Réseau to the west of Cannes, learned 20 minutes with the town hall of the city, confirming information from BFM Côte d’Azur. This branch of the railway company has filed a complaint, said a spokesperson for the SNCF.

According to the local channel, which quotes a witness, a gate was torn off to allow access to this space which had not been used for at least a year and a half.

The Cannes Lérins urban community has funded the development of a reception area for travelers a few kilometers away, to the northwest of the city of festivals, but this will only be accessible from the March 1 to comply with the flood risk prevention plan. Reservations have already been made and the space is currently full for the first ten days of next month.
