The secrets of Indira Ampiot’s morning routine

In an exclusive interview, Miss France 2023, Indira Ampiot answered questions from “20 Minutes” about her waking habits. She doesn’t hesitate to give her fitness or beauty tips, her good addresses and share her little everyday gestures.

Waking up with Indira means waking up at what time?

Waking up with me means never waking up at the same time. I have different schedules every day! Today I can wake up at 8 a.m., tomorrow it will be 7 a.m.… it depends.

What is your first instinct when you get up?

My first instinct when I get up is to simply turn off my alarm.

What feel-good music do you like to listen to while getting ready?

There are several musics that I like to listen to while getting ready, but at the moment I’m going back to the classics of zouk and of course I listen to Anchored at your port by Fanny J.

What hairstyle do you do when you get up late?

This is the low bun because it is simple to achieve. So if you see me with a bun, it’s because I missed my alarm.

What are your beauty essentials (make-up + skincare)?

Sun cream ! It’s my essential, I put it on every morning. Then the Sothys mascara, the brush is fine, it’s simpler and I would say the gloss. These are truly the three products I can’t live without.

Among them, which one would you choose if you could only keep one and why?

Sunscreen because it’s important to put it on every morning, especially me because I burn very quickly. And above all because it protects the skin so we pay attention to that afterwards.

What breakfast do you make for yourself in the morning when you have time?

I would say eggs. I either make fried eggs, scrambled eggs, or boiled eggs.

What outfit do you feel best in every day?

It’s simple: loose pants or shorts, with a tank top or a little sweater and it’s great.

If “20 Minutes” opens your bag, what will you definitely find there?

You will absolutely find my keys there, to get home it is important.

Where do you go for lunch?

A little everywhere, I’m not complicated, I eat everything.

A place you like to go and why?

At home but also in Guadeloupe because I am with my family there all the time. At my parents’ house, my grandmother’s, with my family.

What is your secret to staying in shape and being in a good mood?

I want to say that it’s simply about smiling at life. Nothing happens by chance, you must always keep the positive, even if there is negative you have to get up and overcome the obstacle.

Is your fondest memory as Miss France?

There were a lot of very good memories because Miss France is a springboard, we have the chance to be able to do lots of things. But I would say that my most beautiful memory was my return to Guadeloupe. I was able to see my friends again, the people who supported me, they gave me a warm welcome which marked my year.
