Eric Zana, president of the 3.14 casino (Partouche group) in Cannes, was indicted on May 10 and “placed under judicial supervision the same day”, said the prosecution. The manager of the establishment is suspected of “moral and sexual harassment”, AFP learned, confirming information from Mediapart.
A series of alerts, over a period of three years, was launched by several staff members and relayed by the labor inspectorate to the justice system. A former employee, having negotiated a conventional breach of her contract, denounced “gestures and words inappropriate towards female staff”. Since the arrival of Eric Zana, the employees report a “degradation of the social climate” and a “disparagement”.

Contacted, Eric Zana’s lawyer, Me Adrien Verrier, indicated in a press release that his client “forcefully disputes the facts of which he is accused” and mentions “totally unfounded accusations”. The accusers “most of whom were dismissed for professional misconduct, chose to borrow the criminal framework to hope for compensation” in court and “try to harm the image of Mr. Zana”, adds the lawyer.
