The preferred route to settling scores after the shootings at Blosne

Three detonations during the night. And a few minutes later, the sound of police sirens. But there was obviously no one there. Wednesday December 6 around 10:15 p.m., a Renault Mégane was found stopped, doors open, square de Galicie, in the Blosne district, in Rennes. On their arrival, the police discovered three large caliber bullet holes in the car “without being able to determine with certainty at this stage whether one of the occupants had been injured”, specifies the public prosecutor Philippe Astruc .

According to the magistrate, there is little doubt about the context of these shots. “The location of the events as well as the mode of operation invite us to analyze the hypothesis of a settling of scores against a backdrop of drug trafficking.”

Just before the police arrived, a white BMW left the scene at high speed. A vehicle of the same type was found in flames a few minutes later by firefighters a few hundred meters away. A criminal investigation into attempted homicide was opened by the Rennes public prosecutor’s office and entrusted to the judicial police.
