The play “Rabbit” with Pierre Arditi and Muriel Robin is suspended until November 8 to allow the actor to rest after his discomfort on stage at the end of September, the press service of the Parisian Edouard VII theater said on Sunday. “Pierre Arditi resumed too soon after his vagal discomfort. He is resting and will resume alongside Muriel Robin on Wednesday, November 8,” indicated the press service, while the room had resumed on a dotted line since the incident.
On September 27, the 78-year-old actor felt unwell on the stage of the Edouard VII theater, around twenty minutes after the start of the performance of “Rabbit”, written and directed by Samuel Benchetrit. The performance of this highly anticipated back-to-school play was immediately interrupted.
Ticket postponement or spectator refund
Briefly hospitalized, Pierre Arditi was put on rest for a week and returned to action on October 4. But this Wednesday, around 6:30 p.m., the actor felt “tired” and the decision was made to cancel the performance again. Spectators who had purchased tickets for the canceled performances will be able to obtain their refund or reschedule from the points of sale or the theater, according to the press service.
