The permanence of a Modem deputy from Gironde vandalized

The permanence of the Modem deputy for the 7th district of Gironde (Pessac), Frédéric Zgainski, was found tagged on Tuesday, the elected official announced on social networks. The deputy, who accuses “extreme right groups”, has indicated his intention to file a complaint.

The inscriptions were signed by “Action Directe Identitaire”, a small group which had already distinguished itself last October by tagging the Pessac mosque. He had also signed in December an inscription on the walls of the association of solidarity with all immigrants: “Let them return to Africa”, a reference to the exit to the Assembly of the RN deputy from Gironde Grégoire de Fournas.

“Bullying has no place in our democracy”

This time, it is messages aimed at pension reform that have been inscribed on the walls of the permanence of the elected Modem: “Retirement before arthritis” and “Young people at work, boomers in thalassotherapy”.

Bérangère Couillard, who had been re-elected in this 7th constituency last June, but who had handed over to her deputy Frédéric Zgainski after being appointed Secretary of State for Ecology, denounced “the intimidation which has not its place in our democracy.
