The number of patients in hospitals drops below 11,000

The pressure continues to drop. French hospitals counted less than 10,738 patients with Covid-19 this Friday against 11,114 the day before, according to figures from Public Health France. Only 171 new people have been hospitalized in the past 24 hours with a diagnosis of Covid-19.

1,740 people were in critical care services, which take care of the most serious cases, against 1,799 on Thursday. These services recorded 53 new admissions in 24 hours. France deplores Friday 50 new deaths in hospital due to the coronavirus.

31,712,896 people received at least one injection

On the vaccination side, 17,847,833 people are fully vaccinated on Friday (two injections, or only one if they have been vaccinated with Janssen’s product, at a single dose, or if they had already had the Covid before).

And 31,712,896 people received at least one injection, or 47.3% of the total population and 60.4% of the adult population.
