The Munich Art Association and its civic engagement – Munich

One could say “oldie but goldie” about the now 200-year-old Munich Art Association. He was still shaped by the “bourgeois public” that emerged at the beginning of the 19th century, although today he does not have to distinguish himself from an aristocracy or a royal academy. On the contrary, they have long been working closely with the Academy of Fine Arts, and the art association unites all social strata, as one could see so beautifully at the anniversary celebrations last weekend.
