No photo a bit naked for this time … The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, received an injection of anti-Covid Moderna vaccine on Monday afternoon in Melun (Seine-et-Marne), where he had already received a first dose of AstraZeneca in early February. Aged 41, Olivier Véran had a messenger RNA vaccine administered “as provided for by the recommendation of the High Authority for Health,” said his cabinet.

The AstraZeneca vaccine has in fact been reserved since March 19 for people aged at least 55, due to rare cases of thrombosis (blood clots) detected in Europe.

Adults between the ages of 18 and 54 who had received a first dose of AstraZeneca before that date should therefore receive a second injection of Pfizer or Moderna. This concerns 533,000 people in France, including many caregivers.
