After three quarters of an hour, Juan Mata substituted himself. By then, a number of others had already demonstrated their skills in the lobby of Manchester’s National Football Museum – including a circus cyclist pedaling backwards, a violist playing and singing lying on the floor, and a young woman performing acrobatics with a soccer ball. Juan Mata can do that too, the former Manchester United player is world and European champion. For a few minutes he juggles a ball with his feet and head, fitting seamlessly into the group of ten participants in Tino Sehgal’s installation “This Entry”.
