The Israeli army leads a major “offensive” against Hezbollah in Lebanon

Israeli forces have launched an “offensive action” against southern Lebanon, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Wednesday. The latter also specified that half of the commanders of the powerful Hezbollah movement in this sector had been “eliminated”. It was not immediately clear whether Israeli forces had entered Lebanese territory.
