It was completely destroyed. During the night, the Intermarché store in Muret, south of Toulouse, was ravaged by flames. THE Haute-Garonne firefighters went to the scene around 11:15 p.m., alerted to the incident.
When they arrived on site, the growing fire had pierced the roof and was fanned by a violent wind. No less than ten vehicles and 37 firefighters were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire that engulfed the 2,700 m2 building. Six lances were deployed and the Haute-Garonne firefighters did not rule out the risk of the building collapsing.
This Friday morning, a pump machine was still on site to monitor any possible outbreaks of fire. A lifting of the emergency device will take place during the day indicates the departmental fire and rescue service.
