The holiday programs in the district of Ebersberg offer something for everyone. – Ebersberg

The countdown is running. Soon it will be time again: Holidays!!! No copying maths on the bus in the morning – instead sleep in until you get hungry and then be free as a bird for everything that’s fun. But sometimes it’s also: “Mom, I’m so looooooooooooo boring!”, while working parents play the unpopular Tetris for their part.

Luckily, there are a variety of holiday offers in the district for all of these cases, some of which the parents of today’s school children even know from their own experience. Clubs, private individuals or the respective municipality itself offer excursions and activities for the whole day or by the hour at mostly affordable prices or even without any cost sharing.

The conditions are passé, only at some events the number of participants was reduced

After two years of Corona, the anticipation is great everywhere. In 2021, distance regulations and masks were generally too big a challenge for some organizers, others jumped out at short notice if the regulations were tightened at the time of the appointment.

Most of the requirements are now passé despite the ongoing infection situation, only the number of participants in some offers has been reduced compared to pre-pandemic times. And wherever it’s already possible, registrations are pouring in. A holiday camp by the Grafinger artistic group motivation approximately was fully booked within a day.

999 applications in five days

Neighborhood help is also very popular fatherstetten, she has 45 years of experience in the field. The program is also the most advanced there – the registrations via www.nbh-ferienprogramm.de have essentially already run. According to the organizer, 999 applications were counted within five days for the 56 offers. A little later the allocation of places was decided by drawing lots; those who could not be considered were put on the waiting list – all computer-aided.

This handling simplifies the procedure – for the families, who can take their time with the registration, as well as for the organizers, who are spared the manual maintenance of Excel lists. Nevertheless, the Vaterstetten youth worker Martha Golombek appreciates the flexibility and the charm of registering in person, where you can then decide individually to overturn strict age limits or to increase the original number of places.

This is what happened with the popular building of huts, for which you can register directly at the Community self-registers. There you will also find information about a chess camp, the program for railway enthusiasts, trips lasting several days and a sports adventure camp. In contrast to other municipalities in the district, there is no central bundling of all actions in Vaterstetten.

Other communities make it easier for parents to keep track of things: In Market Swabia Since 2011, the Blues youth center has been taking care of all the registration and billing for all organizations and clubs involved. Under ferien.jugendzentrum-blues.de a wide range of offers for four to 14-year-olds can be found with many filter options by topic, age or location. It ranges from a guided tour to an observatory or a building game week to early English and filming with the trick box. As director Jan Ostmann explains, there is still “continuous movement in the program”, so it’s worth checking in more often. As a highlight, Ostmann names the scavenger hunt through the town, the stations of which families can also discover on their own. The youth center also offers a “sustainability week” with four independent events.

The association ” founded in 2011 also supports current interestsEbersberger Holiday fun”. In addition to traditional cooking, pottery, working soapstone, chess and story workshops, climbing, football camp or visiting the archers, the 54 program items now include robotics, sketchnoting, saving food or plastic-free bathrooms.

What Lakhena Leng intends to do is also future-oriented. The third mayor of the district town would like to offer a “Mini Ebersberg” in 2023 – anyone who wants to help plan can now take part in the corresponding workshop. The head of the holiday fun, Gabriela Berger, is particularly pleased that both local politicians and Pastor Josef Riedl have been involved for years. This year, Mayor Uli Proske will be accompanied by an environmental educator for the “ponds at the pond chain”. You can browse in detail online at www.ebersberger-ferienspass.deyou have to register on site, on Saturday, July 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the town hall of Ebersberg.

Also in Moosach find the registration for the on the community pages The courses listed will take place in person: On Friday, July 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Rudolf-Obermayr-Halle. The absolute hit is always building sandcastles, says Bettina Beham, head of the association cartel and organizer of the holiday program. “In general, everything that has to do with nature is very popular, where you can get dirty and do something with your hands. That’s really something special for the kids.” In addition to courses like that of the water rescue service, which have been “running forever”, there is an escape room for the first time this year – “and it’s going to be really cool.”

In graphics it’s mostly the traditional ones skater days in the ice rink, which have enjoyed great popularity for years. In addition to trying out all kinds of vehicles, bouldering is always very popular here, registration for this takes place on site. Alternatives are an introductory golf course in Elkofen or the offers in the Pupil Cafe Chester. However, since the program has not yet been completely finalized, it is definitely worth taking a look at the “Children and Family” section of the website City of Grafing.

A regular visit to the registration pages of ferien.poing.de is also recommended, because also in poing the wide range of holiday offers – for example in the areas of music, artistic design or sport – is currently still in motion.

The same goes for the Markt Kirchseeon. About two weeks before the start of the holidays, the program is distributed to all pupils in Kirchseeon and Eglharting and in parallel at www.kirchseeon.de released. You have to register directly with the respective organizer, but for some things no reservation is necessary at all, explains the person responsible, Emma Müller. As a highlight, she names a bike tour through the forest with the mayor.

Teenagers should also learn to keep themselves busy

The “Fun and Games” section of the Vaterstetten Neighborhood Aid, mentioned at the beginning, also has events entitled “A day with the mayor” to offer. In contrast to the other offers, there are still free places according to the quick check. In Neukeferloh, however, you should hurry – the joint potato harvest and a visit to a paddock seem to attract more six to 14-year-olds than the prospect of a “small wedding” in the town hall of Vaterstetten or a visit to the Zornedinger building yard, where the children ” drive around with trucks and equipment”.

As far as holiday fun for young people is concerned, youth worker Martha Golombek has a very clear opinion: “From an educational point of view, you have to ask yourself what you are offering. Holidays from the age of twelve are actually there for young people to come up with ideas and learn for themselves to actively organize their free time. And the best holiday experiences are always those with friends and family.”
