The gendarmerie is banking on an unprecedented partnership to improve prevention

When gendarmerie rhymes with bakery. A few days before the International Day Against Violence Against Women, a new system is being put in place to improve prevention. The 400 Paul bakery brands and the national gendarmerie signed a partnership agreement this Tuesday in Lille, in the North, to directly raise awareness among the general public.

Prevention message on packaging

“Paul is frequented daily by thousands of customers, of all ages, from all backgrounds, throughout France and in particular by many women. Being able to bring this information to the heart of their daily lives is an original way of making them aware of the support resources available to them,” underlines Colonel Dorothée Cloitre, national referent for “intra-family violence” within the gendarmerie.

This unique campaign will be carried out by broadcasting a prevention message on the packaging of Paul bakeries on the occasion of November 25, Day to Combat Violence Against Women. The stores will also display on screen the means of access “victim advice” and “emergency help” (39 19 and My Security app).
