The EU wants nothing to do with electronic waste, plastic waste and old textiles and ships its own waste to Ghana. This is one of the reasons why the country is sinking into the garbage. Antony Peddy wants to change that and sometimes throws garbage at the feet of the kings.

There is great fear of the bacteria that collect in the mountains of rubbish, and infections must be avoided at all costs. “Look, here comes the foreigner,” the locals would then say about him.
