  • Benjamin Netanyahu rules out any ceasefire or any delivery of fuel to Gaza until the hostages have been released. The Israeli Prime Minister demands the release of the 241 hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip before any truce.
  • Israeli troops are “in the heart of Gaza City”. The Israeli army “tightens the noose”, declared Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister. He repeated the call for Palestinian civilians to move to the southern Gaza Strip for their own safety.
  • Washington says it opposes a “reoccupation” from Gaza by Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the American channel ABC News on Monday evening that his country would take “for an indefinite period, general responsibility for security” in the Palestinian territory following the war.
  • In France, the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly are calling for a “great march”Sunday in Paris, against anti-Semitism. Gérard Larcher and Yaël Braun-Pivet call, in a column published in Le Figaro, to react to the increase in anti-Semitic acts in France. The National Rally responded, a participation judged “illegitimate” by the Socialist Party which will however join the march. The leader of La France insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, denounced the event, which he sees as the ” appointment “ of the “friends of unconditional support for the massacre”.
  • More than a hundred French people in total evacuated from Gaza. In a press release, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that “two groups of French nationals, agents and beneficiaries were able to leave the Gaza Strip yesterday and today through the Rafah crossing point.”
  • The health ministry in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip announced Tuesday that 10,328 people, including more than 4,200 children, were killed in Israeli bombardments. in the enclave since the start of the war caused by the attack carried out by the Islamist movement against Israel. This toll could not be independently verified, but according to the Pentagon, thousands of civilians were injured or killed in the Gaza Strip.
