It wasn’t long ago, or more precisely less than two weeks ago, that the media minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Nathanael Liminski (CDU), highlighted the role of the Grimme Institute in Marl as a source of inspiration for the debate about responsibility and quality of media. Grimme is “a seal of quality” for the quality of media offerings. Liminski said this at the ceremony for the institute’s 50th anniversary in the Düsseldorf state parliament and continued: “Our modern, super-diverse and digitally accelerated society needs such orientation more than ever.”
