The SPD and the Greens ran for elections with a promise to make the country fairer. It’s time for them to implement their announcements – even against the opposition of the FDP.

The SPD started the 2021 election campaign to make the country more socially just. she promised about “a tax reform that does better for small and middle-income earners and attracts the top 5 percent more.” similar resigned the Greens: “Wealth inequality has increased sharply and is well above the EU average.” Now the Germans are facing a brutal winter. It’s time for the major government parties to implement their announcements – in response to inflation and beyond.
