Denzel Washington returns in The Equalizer 3. In the first trailer for the sequel, he takes on the Italian mafia.
The eagerly awaited sequel “The Equalizer 3” will be released in German cinemas on August 31st. The third part of the action film series with superstar Denzel Washington (68) the first trailer has now been released. The preview video once again sets the mood for breathtaking battle scenes, this time taking place in a Mediterranean setting.
This is what The Equalizer 3 is all about
Ex-government agent Robert McCall (Washington) lives in southern Italy after the events of the previous films. The former killer seems to have found peace there. But a bomb attack rocks his new home and McCall realizes his new friends are controlled by the local mafia. Without further ado, he takes on the powerful new enemies.
Like the two previous films from 2014 and 2018, “The Equalizer 3” is being directed by director Antoine Fuqua (57). In addition to the two-time Oscar winner Washington, David Denman (“Mare of Easttown”, 49), Sonia Ammar (“Scream”, 24) and Dakota Fanning (29) are in front of the camera. It is Washington and Fanning’s first collaboration since 2004’s action film Man on Fire.
