No investigation planned against Prince Andrew

Despite the documents disclosed in the Epstein scandal, Prince Andrew does not have to fear any new investigations by the London police for the time being.
As part of the abuse scandal involving Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019), there has once again been a great stir surrounding Prince Andrew (63). In recently disclosed court documents – said to run nearly 1,000 pages – Andrew’s name reportedly appears over 70 times. A group critical of the monarchy called “Republic” has now filed a complaint against the Royal with the London Metropolitan Police Service. reports “The Standard”.
However, this plan to take legal action against Prince Andrew is unlikely to be successful, as BBC News now says. Accordingly, the police authority has already declined and ruled out investigations against Prince Andrew until further notice. The Met would only turn on again when it had “new and relevant” information regarding the younger brother of King Charles III. (75) and his involvement in the Epstein case.
In spring 2022, Prince Andrew was able to reach an out-of-court agreement with Virginia Giuffre (40), who had sued him for sexual abuse. In the settlement she is said to have been awarded a sum in the double-digit million range.
This is what the documents say about Prince Andrew
Last Wednesday (January 3), a US court published around 40 documents from the libel trial between Giuffre against Epstein’s long-time partner and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell (62). It not only contains a list of 170 real names that were mentioned in the process. According to People magazine, a plaintiff also claimed in court documents that Prince Andrew sexually harassed her.
Specifically, Johanna Sjoberg (42), who is one of the many abuse victims of the now deceased sex offender Epstein, accused Andrew in May 2016 of touching her breast in Epstein’s home in New York in 2001. She was 20 years old at the time. According to court documents, a group photo was also taken at that time with Epstein, Maxwell, Giuffre, Andrew, a doll with Andrew’s likeness and Sjoberg.
