The doc in 2 minutes: “F@ck this job”, the story of the media that Putin did not want

In 2008, while the economy was still in full swing, Natalia Sindeïva decided to create Dojd, “the optimistic channel”. It is an independent channel, which takes off when it begins to broadcast information that other Russian media do not cover. When Dojd begins to cover the demonstrations against the amendment of the Constitution by Putin, the channel enters the crosshairs of the government. Repressions, attempts at intimidation… all employees of the chain must then show resilience.

In this documentarydirector Vera Krichevskaya tells two stories: that of Natalia Sindeïva, a fervent defender of the right to media independence from the worldly and glamorous world of pre-recession Russia, and that of the channel Dojd, “baby” of Natalia and enemy of Putin. A documentary to discover with Spicypartner of 20 minutes.
