The homophobic chants sung by Rennes supporters on Sunday at Roazhon Park against Nantes will be examined on Thursday by the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League (LFP), AFP learned on Monday from the League.
In the 21st minute of the match counting for the 7th day of L1, ultras from the Roazhon Celtic Kop resumed homophobic chants targeting the people of Nantes in general, and Matthis Abline, former Rennes player loaned this summer, in particular. The commission will take up this case on Thursday, indicated the LFP, confirming information from L’Equipe, but could not summon the Rennes club until next week.
