Tweets from gaming company Gala Games about its partnership with actors Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Mark Wahlberg have confused GALA token holders after the tweet was deleted without explanation.
The tweet, posted Jan. 9, shows a screenshot from the Gala Games Discord and says the company is developing two movies with the actor. by calling them The post saw the company’s original token price soar nearly 70% to $0.049, but has since dropped again and is now $0.038.
While the original Discord messages remain on the company’s servers. Members of both the Gala Games and Gala Film Discord servers have asked moderators to clarify the partnership. But as of now still no answer.
Gala Games debut Gala Film in the middle of last year It aims to use web3 technology to overcome challenges in the film and television industry such as intellectual property rights.
There are currently four movies listed on the website. Two titles can be purchased via NFT, with the cheapest NFT costing $250.
