The Court of Appeal postpones its decision after the death of Bernard Tapie

The Paris Court of Appeal, which was due to rule this Wednesday in the controversial Crédit Lyonnais arbitration case in 2008, announced on Monday the postponement of its decision after the death of Bernard Tapie, who died this Sunday of a long cancer at the age of 78.

The death of the businessman leads to the end of the criminal proceedings against him, but the court of appeal must nevertheless render its decision concerning the five other defendants in this case, including the boss of Orange Stéphane Richard. The date of the new decision has not yet been communicated.
