Amira and Oliver Pocher deal with the end of their marriage very differently. While Amira withdraws, the comedian conveys his pain to the public – and now also to his new stage program. The situation seems to continue to affect the 45-year-old. At the start of the tour in Europa-Park in Rust, he even shed tears in front of around 2,000 spectators.
Pocher himself described the “Liebeskasper” tour as a way to cope with the separation in his own way. His very personal “pain therapy”, in which he went into detail right at the start and discussed his ex’s alleged affair with the motivational speaker Biyon Katthilattu. “They fucked, fucked, fucked – the whole program. That’s fine, she can do whatever she wants. She also broke up with me.” Still, he continued, he was a little angry with Amira. “If you separate from your partner, please be honest. Especially if you have children.”
Towards the end of the show, a few tears actually rolled down from the comedian. He sang his wedding song “Nothing is as beautiful as you” and photos of his children and Amira from happy times were shown in the background. Pocher then briefly turned away from the audience, struggled to compose himself and wiped the tears from his face. Supportive applause followed from the audience.
Despite the separation, Oliver and Amira Pocher say they are trying to continue to pull together – if only for the benefit of their children. Most recently, they even spent New Year’s Eve together, as the comedian proved in an Instagram story at the turn of the year. However, Pocher cannot resist regular criticism of his ex.
After discussing their relationship for three years in their joint podcast “Die Pochers!” had publicly celebrated, they also announced their separation on this channel on August 31st after seven years of relationship and four years of marriage. There Amira opened up to the fans: “We thought that this is probably the best way to say it: We are separated.” Shortly afterwards, Oliver Pocher continued his podcast series with, of all people, his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden – under the new title “The Pochers! Freshly recycled”.
